Do you love sports? Would you enjoy a career as a TV sports journalist? Have you dreamed about being a TV sports anchor or calling a last second, game winning shot on radio or television? This is your chance to learn how to become a sports broadcaster at the nation’s premier Sports Broadcasting Camp for boys and girls ages 10-18.

Monday
9am Introduction
10am-11am ESPN’s Lisa Salters
11:00-12pm Interactive Activity
12:00-1pm Lunch
1-2m CBS sports anchor Zach Klein
2-3pm Interactive Activity
3:00-4pm The Voice of the Hawks, Steve Holman
Tuesday
9am-4pm Campers split into groups by age and rotate between making sports anchor tapes, using the Play-by-Play machine, sports talk radio shows, making play by play tapes of the NBA Finals, MLB Playoffs, and Super Bowl, as well as participate in our trivia contest.
Wednesday
9am-10am Sports Talk radio host John Kincade visits camp
10am-4pm Campers rotate between PTI and sports taboo contests, PTI on camera in our TV studio, voicing over ESPN highlights, making reporting tapes, and Stump the Schwab

Thursday
9am-11am Prepare for play-by-play at the Gwinnett Braves game
11-4pm Leave for Braves game. We will be doing play-by-play from the stands into recorders
Friday *Camp Concludes at 3pm
9-12 Sports Family Feud and Sports Jeopardy
12-1pm Lunch
1-3pm Camp Concludes
*Overnight activities include Wiffle Ball, basketball, etc
