Do you love sports? Would you enjoy a career as a TV sports journalist? Have you dreamed about being a TV sports anchor or calling a last second, game winning shot on radio or television? This is your chance to learn how to become a sports broadcaster at the nation’s premier Sports Broadcasting Camp for boys and girls ages 10-18.

Monday
9am Introduction
10am-11am 97.5 The Fanatic’s Mike Missanelli visits camp
11-11:30am Interactive Activity
11:30-12:15pm ESPN reporter Sal Paolantonio
12:15-1pm Lunch
1-3pm Interactive Activity
3-4pm Sixers announcer Marc Zumoff
Tuesday
9-4pm Camp splits into 3 groups and rotates between stations
9-12pm Group 1 – Using our new Tri-caster technology making sports anchor tapes; sports talk radio shows; reporting tapes; Voicing over ESPN highlights

Group 2 – Doing play-by-play of the Superbowl, NBA Playoffs, World Series, NCAA Final Four, Stanley Cup, as well as participating in trivia contest

Group 3 – Hosting mock sports talk shows with Paul Jolovitz and doing on-camera work

12-1pm Lunch
1-1:30pm Sports Agent Jerrold Colton discusses NFL Lockout
1:30-4pm Groups rotate to a different stations (FOX-29 sports anchor Joe Staczek joins us)
Wednesday
9-10am Bracketology with ESPN bracketologists and St. Josephs basketball analyst Joe Lunardi
10-12pm Groups rotate to their final stations

12-1pm Lunch
1-1:30pm Flyers and Phillies announcer Jim Jackson
1:30-4pm Start 2nd set of stations

Group 1 – Making PTI tapes, mock sports talk radio shows, pre and post game shows, and using play-by-play machine.

Group 2 – Participating in PTI and Sport Password tournament.

Group 3 – Rotating between Sports Taboo, Stump the Schwab, and Sports Family Feud

Thursday
9am-10am Press Conference with Temple Basketball coach Fran Dunphy
10-12pm Groups continue rotating between stations
12-1pm Lunch
1-4pm Groups continue rotating between stations
Friday *Camp Concludes at 3pm
9-10am Villanova Basketball team visits camp for interviews
10-1pm Leave for tour of Citizen’s Bank Park
1-2pm Lunch
2-3pm Camp Concludes
*Overnight campers will be touring NBC-10 studios, Camden Riversharks game, playing wiffle ball and basketball, among other activities
