Do you love sports? Would you enjoy a career as a TV sports journalist? Have you dreamed about being a TV sports anchor or calling a last second, game winning shot on radio or television? This is your chance to learn how to become a sports broadcaster at the nation’s premier Sports Broadcasting Camp for boys and girls ages 10-18.

Monday
9-10am Introduction

3-4pm Interactive Activity
Tuesday
9am-4pm Camp breaks into two groups by age and rotates between making sports anchor tapes, sports talk radio shows, reporting tapes, as well as voicing over ESPN Highlights. This will be done with our new Pixcara machines.

Group 2 will make play-by-play tapes of the NBA Playoffs, World Series, and Super Bowl as well as participate in our famous camp trivia contest.  Groups switch after lunch

*Blackhawks radio play-by-play announcer John Wiedeman stops by camp at 12:45pm
Wednesday
9am-4pm Camp breaks up into groups and rotates between making 1st & 10 tapes, NFL pre-season shows, sports talk radio shows, and voicing over ESPN Top 10 plays.  All recordings will be done with our new pixcara machines.  Gropu 2 will be participating in our PTI and sports password contests.
*Bears RB Kahlil Bell will come by for a press conference with camp at 12:45pm
Thursday
9-1pm Head to Northwestern University to tour football and basketball facility, make reporting tapes, as well as have a press conference with members of the Northwestern football team
1-2pm Lunch
2-3pm Bulls announcer and former player Bill Wennington speaks to camp
3-4pm Interactive Activity
Friday *Camp Concludes at 3pm
9-10:30am Peter Brown from yahoo sports
10am-12pm Sports Sharks game
12-1pm Lunch
1-2pm Sports Jeopardy
2-3pm Camp Concludes
**Evening activities for overnight campers include Cubs game, wiffle ball, basketball, swimming
